Well the cold from hell lingers on. The half marathon is next weekend. And it is what it is. In the past seven days I have attempted only one workout (other than walking and stretching). I get very light headed when I stand up. I haven't tried yoga for fear of fainting. I miss exercise.
Woke up today hoping swallowing would be a little better but no such luck. My plan is to keep forcing myself to eat and drink even though it hurts because I need to get better.
If there is any good news, I have dropped a few pounds. I will probably gain it all back as soon as I can swallow food without suffering, but if that weight could stay gone between now and the half marathon that would be nice.
In a panic I ordered a smaller size running skort from Brooks last night express mail. During the 8 mile race my current one was loose and falling off a little. Pretty sure if I run in that thing now I'll be saggin.
